GETTING STARTED

Start Using Cenmax AI

Choose the Cenmax AI client that best fits how you work.

Start Using Cenmax AI

You can use Cenmax AI through the CLI, Visual Studio Code, the desktop application, or the API.

All clients connect to the same Cenmax AI models and account system. The best option depends on where you prefer to work.

Choose a Client

Client Best For
CLI Terminal-first development and automation
VS Code Developers who want Cenmax AI inside their editor
macOS app Standalone desktop workflow on Mac
Windows app Standalone desktop workflow on Windows
API Building your own applications and agents

CLI

Use the CLI if you spend most of your development time in a terminal.

It works well for repository inspection, planning, code changes, testing, and longer agentic tasks without requiring an editor integration.

See CLI and VS Code for installation.

VS Code

Use the VS Code extension if you want Cenmax AI available directly inside your editor.

This is a good default for developers who want repository-aware assistance without leaving their normal coding environment.

See CLI and VS Code.

Desktop Apps

Cenmax AI also provides standalone desktop applications for macOS and Windows.

The initial 0.1.0 desktop builds are currently distributed unsigned while our production code-signing setup is being completed.

Your operating system may therefore show an additional security warning during installation or first launch.

See Desktop Apps for details.

API

Use the API when you want to integrate Worker or Pro into your own software, agents, internal tools, or development workflows.

The API endpoint is:

https://api.ai.cenmax.in/v1

See API Quickstart to send your first request.
